Cashier Customer Service Rep

M-F 8 AM - 5 PM ALTERNATING SATURDAYS (OVERTIME)

As a Cashier, you’ll be at the forefront of our store operations, handling transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your role will require you to be dependable, adaptable, and proactive in managing various responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and assisting with their purchases.

Cash Handling: Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions; operate the cash register and ensure the drawer is balanced at the start and end of shifts.

Phone and In-Person Transactions: Handle phone calls and in-person transactions efficiently and professionally.

Stock and Cleaning: Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and tidy store environment.

Farm and Fencing Experience: Utilize farm and fencing experience (if applicable) to assist with related store items or customer inquiries.

Stay Busy: Proactively seek out tasks and stay busy during slower periods to ensure productivity and store upkeep.

Dependability: Demonstrate reliability by showing up on time for shifts and being a consistent presence on the team.

Transportation: Ensure you have your own reliable transportation to and from work.

Fast Learner: Quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities, and efficiently learn store procedures and systems.

Team Collaboration: Work well with team members, contributing to a positive work environment and smooth store operations.

Sense of Humor: Engage with customers and coworkers with a friendly demeanor and a good sense of humor.

Skills: Proficiency in handling transactions, managing phone calls, and providing excellent customer service.

Personality: Trustworthy, dependable, and a fast learner with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.

Additional Requirements: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Able to Lift 50lbs

Stand for 8 hours
