Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm; non-exempt
Essential Duties:
Able to troubleshoot facility mechanical and safety issues and demonstrate hands-on maintenance for minor facility repairs (i.e., pothole patching, changing light bulbs, restroom repairs, etc.).
Use various computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) to perform the following duties:
o Maintain a schedule for facilities repair and maintenance.
o Input, track, analyze, and report:
-Purchase and inventory of parts, materials, repair information, and supplies for maintenance and
upkeep of facilities.
-Employee safety recognition program.
-Facilities and equipment maintenance and repair activity costs.
-Safety accidents, claims, tickets, and violations.
o Assist with maintaining current resources in our safety training library, scheduling, and creating
personnel safety training and meeting content (CDL, DOT, OSHA, Forklift, General Safety, Hazmat,
DIP Training, etc.).
Serve as the primary back up to the Fleet Coordinator.
Qualifications (R: Required; P: Preferred):
Minimum 2 years related business experience: (P)
High school diploma or equivalent: (R)
Fluency in English (oral and written): (R)
Effective oral and written communication: (R)
PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel: (R)
College: (P)
Commercial Driver's License with clean driving record: (P)
Working mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles: (P)
Ability to understand and work in a computer database: (P)
Ability to operate a smart phone device and business applications: (P)
Type 40+ wpm: (P)
Excellent attendance and dependability: (P)
