POSITION SUMMARY:
Pacific Gateway Center (PGC) is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant supports the PGC management team, programs, and operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
● Answers phones, schedules meetings as needed and interfaces with visitors and clients.
● Administrative duties such as handling tasks for the Board of Directors, filing, word processing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
● Supports grant writing needs that may include basic research of data, securing and assembling required documents and letters of support, and assisting with finalization of grant proposals.
● Responsible for maintenance of PGC files related to business operations, personnel, programs.
● Maintains office calendar.
● May conduct initial, basic client intake for PGC programs.
● Monitors company email.
● Ensures operation and servicing of office equipment.
● Handles postage and mailing of company mail.
● Maintains and orders office supplies.
Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
● Detail-oriented.
● Administrative Writing Skills.
● Microsoft Office Skills (Google suite).
● Professionalism, exercise good judgment.
● Ability to handle confidential information.
● Problem Solving.
● Ability to work with sensitivity and understanding to diverse cultures and with the socially disadvantaged.

Education and Experience Requirements:
● Minimum A.A. degree or equivalent education required.
● 3 years of administrative assistant experience.
● Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
● Knowledge of basic office equipment, e.g., computers, phones, copy/fax machine.
● Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Compensation, Work Location, Hours & Benefits:
● $22 -25 Hour; full-time, non-exempt
● Monday – Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
