SUMMARY
The Social Media Manager & Content Creator is responsible for collaborating with THERE Stories’ Founders on developing and implementing social media strategies for the agency’s clients and THERE Stories' own professional account and page. This role is influential in delivering results-oriented social media and content creation services. It drafts social media captions, curates social media account grids and manages clients’ social media communities. It also creates engaging content for clients and agency. Additionally, the Social Media Manager & Content Creator prepares monthly social media analytics reports for clients and assists with other agency needs as requested. This is a part-time, hourly, position, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as early as the end of summer/beginning of fall. This position is hybrid remote on Maui and must be available to shoot on location on Maui as needed.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Founders on developing and implementing clients’ social media strategies and agency’s internal social media strategy
Curate content & draft social media posts for clients and agency across various platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
Create engaging content concepts and prepare for shoots
Film photo and video for clients and agency
Edit pictures and footage into final images and Reels
Schedule social media posts using third party platforms or directly through platform as needed
Manage social media communities for clients (monitor, engage and share per respective scopes)
Vet and manage influencer relations for clients as needed
Analyze social media insights and metrics to produce monthly analytics reports for clients and agency
Attend client meetings
Research social media trends and industry news
Facilitate social media giveaways for clients as needed
Other tasks as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Proficient at the professional account management of Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter)
- Skilled at filming and creating Reels
- Experience in photography strongly preferred
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Strong communication skills, especially in creative writing
- Graphic design experience preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented with an artistic eye
- Skilled at prioritization and time-management with minimal oversight
- Able to see the bigger marketing and business picture and exhibit good judgement
- Highly collaborative team player
- Proactive with a positive attitude
