Role Overview:
Join our team as a Social Media Manager, where you will play a key role in amplifying our mission and engaging our community. You'll bring our daily efforts and achievements to life online, connecting with our audience in meaningful ways and ensuring our message of care and unity is felt across all our platforms.
Responsibilities:
- 3 posts a week on Instagram
- Post and share our daily activities and achievements on social media platforms (all video content will be created by our marketing director)
- Repost tagged content from our community on Instagram stories
- Craft engaging captions that reflect our values and mission, capturing the essence of our commitment to community and positive impact.
- Interact with our online community, responding to comments and messages
- Analyze social media engagement to maximize the reach and impact of our message once a month with the leadership team
- Occasionally edit static posts
Who You Are:
- Some experience in social media management with a strong ability to tell compelling stories
- Your communication skills reflect a spirit of collaboration and support
- Passionate about feeding the hungry, community support, and making a meaningful difference
- Familiarity in using social media tools and analytics, capable of leveraging insights to enhance our online presence.
Pay:
Salaried monthly and negotiable based on experience
This is a mostly remote position, but will require occasional leadership meetings on island in person.
