We’re looking for a creative, reliable, and community-minded individual to help us grow our online presence and tell our story through engaging social media content.
Role Overview:
This is a freelance, as-needed role—not a traditional part-time position. You’ll collaborate with our team to brainstorm, create, and post content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The workload will vary depending on campaigns, events, and seasons, so flexibility and responsiveness are key.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute creative content ideas aligned with our brand and goals
Capture photos and videos of our products, events, and team
Write captions and create basic graphics as needed
Post content or deliver it to us to post
Monitor social engagement and suggest ways to improve visibility
Communicate and collaborate directly with the owner/team for approvals and planning
Requirements:
Must reside on Oʻahu and be able to meet in person occasionally
Strong understanding of current social media trends and platforms
Photography and video editing skills (mobile or basic editing software acceptable)
Ability to work independently and deliver content promptly
Portfolio or samples of previous social media content work required
Positive attitude and understanding of local culture and values
Nice to Have:
Experience with small/local businesses
Knowledge of simple analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights)
Graphic design basics (Canva or similar tools)
