Job Title:
Landscape Technician. Full time.
Monday thru Friday, 9am-5pm. All Weekends OFF.
Full Benefits.
Includes health insurance and paid vacation.
Duties Include:
High-End Lawn and Garden Maintenance.
Lawns: Must be good with a string trimmer. Setting edges, matching mower cuts, trimming garden borders.
Garden work - Detailed oriented, Cleaning up of overgrown and dead garden debris. Hedging shrubs.
Experience preferred. Highly experienced workers eligible for more starting pay (please provide resume).
- however if your younger and willing to learn, with a good attitude, we will teach you.
REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizen or Green Card
Valid Drivers license (with clean history)
Transportation to Upcountry daily. We meet in Pukalani.
Must know how to use small engines.
Physically able to perform all duties. Get paid for a light workout.
Good Vibes & Willingness to learn.
Pay:
Starts @ $25 per hour.
no experience will start out @$22/hr until you are trained in. Then $25/hr.
1) If you are an active LICT technician with at least 3 years of experience we will start you out with more pay.
- please provide proof of LICT certificate.
Pay scale depends on if you are knowledgeable with:
- Irrigation repairs and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of lawn treatments and plant issues.
- Demonstrate you are experienced with small gas powered machines.
- Professionalism. Clean and courteous. Communicate well.
- A Good Team Player.
Working Conditions:
Be physically able to work outdoors. Hedging shrubs with a gas hedger, clean-up (all work is done from the ground).
Awareness of garden and plant care (Aesthetic pruning, Removal of dead debris, hand weeding, etc.) , identify plant ailments.
Use of fertilizers and landscape treatments, granular and foliar treatments. (we are mostly organic).
The job sometimes requires lifting of 50 pounds or more.
