Help Wanted: Part-Time Organic Farm Assistant
We're a small, vibrant organic farm nestled in the picturesque area of Glenwood, situated comfortably between Mountain View and Volcano. Our farm is dedicated to sustainable and organic practices, growing a variety of produce and plants with care and respect for the earth. We're currently on the lookout for a passionate, dedicated individual to join our team for two days a week, assisting with farm upkeep, planting, and a range of other miscellaneous chores.
Position: Part-Time Organic Farm Assistant
Location: Glenwood (between Mountain View and Volcano)
Schedule: 2 days per week (flexible days)
Starting Wage: $14 per hour, with a potential increase to $15 per hour after one month, contingent upon outstanding performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily farm upkeep and maintenance.
- Planting, weeding, and caring for a variety of organic crops.
- Performing a range of miscellaneous chores as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of our farm.
- Engaging in sustainable farming practices and contributing to our farm's organic ethos.
Requirements:
- Some knowledge of gardening and organic growing practices is highly desirable.
- A passion for sustainable agriculture and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to excellence.
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
