We are a busy construction company looking to hire dedicated laborers who want to become apprentices and who currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you are wanting a good job with good pay, we are interviewing serious applicants now.
You must be reliable, a hard worker with a can-do attitude, and be able to follow directions from co-workers and take advantage of the many training opportunities for advancement. You will be responsible for loading and unloading heavy materials and tools frequently, purchasing and delivering materials and tools, and cleaning our warehouse, vehicles, and job sites. You will work alongside our journeymen on construction sites and in our cabinet workshop, learning new skills daily.
Responsibilities:
Prep and clean up construction sites and mill working shop.
Load/unload construction materials and products, must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Follow instructions from supervisor and co-workers.
Assist as necessary.
Ready to learn from on-the-job training.
Care for and complete inventory of construction equipment.
Running errands as needed.
Help co-workers when necessary, willing to pitch in with what is needed.
Skills:
Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
Ability to keep a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Be punctual and dependable.
Be self-motivated – good at finding essential tasks on your own.
Must have dependable daily transportation.
Education/Experience:
Current valid Hawaii driver’s license.
Be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.

This position is full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00 am—3:30 pm, with the occasional opportunity for overtime.
