ASSISTANT FACILITIES MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Available starting May 15, 2024
Part-time (20 hours per week)
Starting at $29/hour with benefits, including: medical, dental, PTO, 401K
Assistant Facilities Manager reports directly to the Facilities Manager of COMMON GROUND and assists with management of all buildings, infrastructure and gardens located at COMMON GROUND KAUA`I.
Responsibilities Include:
● Work with Facilities Manager to oversee building and grounds maintenance
● Assist with inspecting and repairing electrical and plumbing services
● Assist with inspecting and repairing agricultural and potable water systems
● Maintain adequate parts inventory and order replacement parts as necessary
● Ensure facilities are always clean
● Manage waste disposal systems
● Work with Facilities Manager to ensure a constant security presence
● Assist with management of parking facilities
● Working with CG tenants to ensure faciltiies are in proper working order.
Candidate requirements:
● Plumbing and irrigation experience
● Heavy equipment operation and maintenance
● Carpentry/building experience
● Basic knowledge of electrical systems
● Knowledge of relevant OSHA and safety standards
● Must possess a positive attitude
● Must be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
● Minimum 2-3 years experience in similar position
● Candidate must possess a valid Drivers License
