Our office is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to help support the team with patient care and preparation for procedures. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working with internal medicine and possesses medical terminology skills. This person will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures and taking vitals, and will involve the rest of the team when needed.
Responsibilities:
Be familiar with history and symptoms of common medical issues.
Be familiar with medical office management, basic accounting, and filing procedures.
Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and answering phone calls.
Keep accurate records of patient information such as patient visits, medical conditions, and insurance information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21- $24.00 per hour
