Restaurant Manager (Salary plus benefits):

Postcards Restaurant is looking for a Restaurant Manager who can work along side our extraordinary Culinary Team, and help us in becoming the best restaurant in the North Shore of Kauai. Below is our ideal candidate:
· Oversee daily operations of the restaurant relating to front of house including ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining dining room appearance
· Order liquor and supplies for front of house
· Record and review daily financials, and make business recommendations to the Owners along with the Chef
· Handle all marketing programs including but not limited to daily postings in social media to promote the restaurant and coordinating website improvements
· Spearhead recruitment including posting jobs online for front and back of house, as well as interviewing and training front of house staff
· Take the lead in vetting buy outs or special events as well as be the main point of contact for the clients to coordinate these events
Requirements:
· Proven work experience as Restaurant Manager for at least 2 years and leading a team
· Excellent customer service and a basic understanding of financials
· Adept at using the computer (or apps) to be able to post on social media, post job openings, and record-keeping
· Blue card required
· Requires familiarity with the industry’s best practices including but not limited to sanitation standards, as well as the willingness to comply with local laws.
