We are seeking a detail-oriented FOOD PREP ASSISTANT to join our team. The Food Prep Assistant is offering a full-time or part-time position, working in our kitchen preparing food and beverages with collaboration and guidance from the Food & Beverage Manager. Core Responsibilities:
● Follow recipes and portion sizes to accurately prepare food items.
● Assist in cooking and baking tasks as needed.
● Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to prevent spoilage and contamination.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing food preparation surfaces.
● Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
● Previous kitchen experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
● Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
● Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
● Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
● Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
