We are seeking a full-time house person at Castle Kamaole Sands, located in beautiful Kihei, Hawaii. The house person will be assigned to assist with cleaning of guest rooms and assigned areas according to present standards. Tasks include but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, shampooing of carpet, carpet extraction, floor scrubbing, window cleaning, high dusting while utilizing proper equipment, tools and chemicals. Will also assist with the delivery/pick-up of linen.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform delivery tasks requested by housekeeping management and/or general manager including but not limited to, assisting with guest requests, removal of used linen, delivery of clean linen items, and delivery of supplies to and from storage areas.
Guest delivery items to include setting up extra bedding, infant cribs, and any other equipment as designated by the front office team members, housekeeping management and/or general manager.
Follow established chemical procedures.
Follow all safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum lifting of 25 pounds.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Must be able available to work on any day of the week and shift.
Must be able to complete work timely and accurately with attention to detail.
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Minimum pushing 75-100 pounds.
Be an honest and caring person.
PAY RANGE: $19 - $22/Hour
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. On the job training is provided.
