We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team at Waimea Coffee Company at Pacific 19 Hotel. As a barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, greeting customers, taking orders, and handling transactions
Keep the cafe area clean and well-maintained, including equipment, countertops, and seating areas
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu items, including ingredients and allergen information
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Requirements:
Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages
Flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
