Description We are currently seeking a focused and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to contribute to our client's financial team. An Accounts Receivable Clerk role entails performing a variety of accounts receivable duties. The clerk will be responsible for collecting payments from clients, updating and maintaining client accounts, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to handling confidential information with discretion. Priority will be given to those applicants who reside in Hawaii. Post daily receipts and update receivable ledgers.
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Generate invoices and account statements.
Resolve outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity.
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk.
Strong data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
Proficiency in English and in Microsoft Office, experience with accounting software is a plus.
