Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Accounting Clerk in Honolulu, HI. This role is focused on assisting with audit preparation and performing various accounting tasks within the telecom industry. You will be working under the CFO and Accountant, helping them locate hard copy records and files, and performing other clerical duties as needed. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.Responsibilities: Assisting with the 2023 audit by locating hard copy records and files as per auditors' requests Going through boxes of hard copies to find the information requested by auditors Performing general filing and other routine tasks associated with an Accounting Clerk role Conducting account reconciliations and other accounting work Utilizing Microsoft Excel and NetSuite for data entry and organization Demonstrating strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation Demonstrated ability in data entry Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong organizational capabilities Experience with NetSuite Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated problem-solving skills Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
