Established in 1968, we are a locally owned and operated HVAC company experiencing significant growth in our service department. An exciting opportunity awaits the ideal candidate to join our expanding team. Our Service Department specializes in providing comprehensive services including routine maintenance, repairs, and new equipment installations for Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.

Job Description:

As the Commercial HVAC Service Manager, your role will entail overseeing a team of unionized Field Service professionals, directing day-to-day operations, and maximizing manpower and resources to ensure operational efficiency. Additionally, you will be actively engaged in customer interactions, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly while also serving as a key problem solver within the team.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Efficiency and Client Management: Skillfully project manage key customer accounts to ensure seamless coordination of scheduling, repairs, and billing processes within designated timelines. Proficiently navigate and manage multiple third-party customer billing platforms such as Vendor Shield, Ecotrax, Nest, and others, optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing client satisfaction.

Customer Engagement Excellence: Foster direct connections with customers by attentively addressing inquiries and concerns, dedicated to achieving successful resolutions and fostering lasting relationships.

Product Knowledge Enhancement: Continuously update familiarity with cutting-edge HVAC products and technologies, aiming to optimize operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction standards.

Team Leadership and Support: Spearhead the guidance and motivation of an administrative team, ensuring prompt completion of tasks. Provide hands-on assistance with contracts, estimates, invoicing, and other administrative duties. Actively engage in staff meetings and training sessions to uphold meticulous adherence to business standards and operational protocols.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of service management experience in the HVAC industry

4+ years of experience leading a team of technicians.

High School diploma or GED

Must have a valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree or Higher Education in a Relevant Field.

Extensive Service Management Experience within the Commercial HVAC Sector.

Profound Understanding and Working Knowledge of Commercial HVAC Systems.

Strong Technical Aptitude, including familiarity with Local Building Codes and adeptness in utilizing available resources to devise solutions.

Proficiency in Computer Skills, encompassing expertise in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, alongside adept navigation of CRM platforms like ServiceTrade, Accounting Software, and other essential business applications.
