A small local CPA firm located on Kauai is seeking a part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper. I am looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, reliable and can work independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the ability to work with multiple clients, recording transactions, reconciliations, process payroll, file general excise and sales taxes, processing 1099’s, journal entries and prepare financial statements. There will also be some light administrative duties. As this could be a remote position, excellent communication skills are required.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred but willing to consider equivalent education or experience
Very strong knowledge of Quickbooks Online
Excellent computer and technical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Positive attitude and highly motivated
High degree of accuracy and quickness
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
