We are seeking for an experienced and dedicated accounting professional to assist the CFO and maintain the effective and efficient operations of the accounting department. This person will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks crucial to the success of our business while keeping to the goals and objectives of the organization.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience Requirements:

Minimum two years of accounting work experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Accounting Software

Preferred, but not required Experience:

Public Accounting work

Sage Intacct software & Ramp Finance Automation platform

Working knowledge of federal contracts with the Department of Housing and Urban Development

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Excellent communication skills

Analytical skills

Ability to multi-task

Ability to meet deadlines

Organized

Advanced user of Excel, Microsoft Word

Knowledge of GAAP

Ethical and Discreet

General Job Duties:

Prepares journal entries for cash receipts and does various allocations of government funding;

posts monthly and annual journal entries

Reconciles general ledger accounts

Process monthly federal and state claims, maintains subsidiary schedules, reconciles general

ledger, oversees collection of delinquent receivables

Prepare all various documents foir annual audits

Prepares accurate billings to government agencies, tenants, and other sources of funding

Ensures accuracy of accounting data recorded in Sage Intacct and Ramp

Full-time: Monday through Friday; May be required to work additional hours as needed

Hourly pay range: $22.00 to $26.00
