Introduction:
KFP Enterprises LLC is a local owned fire protection company who services the entire island of Kauai.
Duties & Responsibilities General Accounting:
- Reconcile credit card and bank accounts monthly.
- Manage cash activities and bank reconciliations.
- Submit monthly statistics to admin and owners.
- Record and maintain accounts payable entries and ensure accuracy.
- Payroll transactions and activities.
- Code invoices and assist in budgetary data preparation.
- Facilitate bank transfers and sales tax returns.
- Assist in year-end activities and federal form preparation.
- Manage and filing of State taxes.
- Willing to help in coverage for office front desk coordinator functions when needed.
Education, Experience, Certification, Licensure:
- Education: High School GED, CPA (preferred), or 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certification: CPA (preferred).
Nature of Supervision:
- Supervised by office admin and business owners.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, flexible schedule.
- Part-time.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- We are only considering applicants who currently live on Kauai.
