The full Pay Range is $114,700-$213,700 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. As the Hedging Analytics Manager, you are the heartbeat of our Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) and Fair Value Mortgage portfolio (FVMP) hedge strategy. Dive deep into the world of quantitative financial analysis and chart our course towards robust performance. Your role isn't just about oversight; it's about crafting a solid framework to navigate the tricky waters of interest rate risk. With your expert touch, our models will thrive, our assumptions will be razor-sharp, and our documentation impeccable. Framework Architect: Craft a robust blueprint to navigate MSR risk using tools like Swaps, Options, and TBAs. You're the navigator of this ship!

Market Expert: Oversee our MSR and FVMP portfolios, ensuring we're always in line with risk limits and P&L targets. Your strategies will be our guiding star in every market climate.

Performance Pro: Dive deep into hedge P&L, refine strategies on-the-go, and keep our hedging game top-notch.

Pricing Principles: Sync up with external valuation wizards, resolve mysteries, and ensure we're always on the same page with pricing principles.

Analytic Innovator: Champion the creation of cutting-edge analytical routines, ensuring we're always a step ahead in hedge-related quantitative analysis.

Risk Wrangler: Propose those crucial interest rate risk limits for MSR and FVMP, ensuring our portfolios are always in safe hands.

Strategic Partner: Using your gift of communication and consultation skills, team up with the Financial Planning and Analysis crew, making annual planning and CPST analyses a breeze.

Documentation Wizard: Ensure our model docs are comprehensive and up to date, ticking every box for compliance and regulations.

Engagement Champion: Join forces with the ERM and Audit teams, ensuring our model validation and performance are spot on.

RELOCATION OFFERED TO LIVE WITHIN THE FOLLOWING STATES: AZ, GA, ID, OR, SC, TX, WAQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

Minimum 7 years of hedging and quantitative or related experience at financial institutions

Advanced working knowledge on mortgage, fixed income market, derivative trading, portfolio hedge and risk management

In-depth understanding of financial models such as prepayment model and term structure model

Experience developing and implementing hedge strategy using derivatives

Desired Qualifications :

Advanced degree preferred

Direct experience with MSR hedging

Deep understanding of MSR valuation principles, assumptions and risk metrics

Programming skills with SQL, Excel VBA, R and Python preferred
