Manufacturing Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manufacturing Automation Engineer to join us at medmix Healthcare US Inc., at our new Greenfield Site located in Flowery Branch, Georgia USA. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and equipment in the production of medical devices and products. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, robotics, and control systems within the medical device manufacturing industry, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA, ISO 13485, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Main accountabilities and tasks Automation Systems Design & Implementation: design, implement, and maintain automated manufacturing systems for medical device production lines. This includes working with robotics, automated equipment, PLCs, SCADA, vision systems, and other automated technologies.Process Optimization: continuously monitor and improve manufacturing processes, utilizing automation to enhance efficiency, reduce variability, and improve quality control.System Integration & Troubleshooting: integrate automation equipment into existing production lines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining system reliability. Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting of equipment.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all automation systems and processes comply with regulatory standards, including FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP. Document design, validation, and testing processes for regulatory purposes.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with engineering, production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of automation systems. Support qualification and validation activities related to any automation that required qualification Assist in evaluation, and selection of automation equipment based on production needs and cost-effectiveness.Training & Support:  Provide training to production staff on new automation systems and equipment. Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
