Full Charge Bookkeeper/ Accountant

Description There is an urgent need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to administer month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. If you're a Full Charge Bookkeeper residing in the Augusta, Georgia area, we have a Robert Half client who has a permanent position available. Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation

Note budget transfers

Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Fashion cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Oversee Accounts Receivable

Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Additional special projects if necessary

Provide cash flow projections, as needed

Handle monthly accounting close

Update Accounts Payable

Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Outline business license and gross receipts Requirements - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

3+ years of related experience- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

Month end closings experience desired

Strong familiarity with Month-end Journal Entries

Expertise in Certified Payroll

Journal entries experience

High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills
