We are Peaceful Sea Photography (www.peacefulsea.photography) and we are currently in the process of expanding. We've been shooting real estate photography/videography for over four years here in Atlanta. This job will initially begin as a temporary/sporadic gig job but has the potential to turn into a full-time freelance job within one year. The pay is more competitive than other companies and the hours are fantastic. Below is the full description of what we need:
Previous Real Estate Photography experience is desired but not a dealbreaker.
FIRST: Dates Needed for 2024 (non-negotiable, must be able to work for all of them)
April 15-26
May 20-June 7
June 24-26
July 1-12 (excluding July 4/5)
July 25-26
August 5-16
September 9-20
October 14-30
(no weekends during any of these dates)
SECOND: Requirements
MUST have some sort of photography/video experience. Real Estate Photography experience preferred.
MUST have a vehicle and be willing to drive in and around Atlanta. You will be paid more for driving outside a certain radius.
MUST have or be willing to acquire a drone pilot license. Fairly easy process. A couple YouTube videos and you'll be prepared for the government-issued test.
MUST be willing to draw floor plans (We will teach you. It's really not difficult with our system)
PREFERABLY own your own equipment. To start you may use ours but you MUST be willing to buy your own within the year:
DSLR or Mirrorless Camera - Full Frame Greatly Preferred
17mm Full Frame ZOOM Lens (12mm CMOS Lens)
Drone - preferably a DJI Mini 2 or better, but not a dealbreaker
Own a gimbal that can handle your camera
Tripod
Multiple high-speed SD cards
A computer to upload photos/videos
Again, owning this gear is HIGHLY recommended but not initially a dealbreaker.
THIRD: Expectations
You MUST show up on time for every. single. shoot. I cannot tell you how important this is. The number of photographers/companies that have lost business because they were tardy or missed appointments is astounding. We have kept our clients and grown because we show up on time, every time.
You will be interacting with real estate agents and home owners, so we expect you to act professionally and be friendly and accommodating. Generally, the agent will be at the shoot and will tell you any specifics of what they want.
You will also need to upload all photos/videos to our backend system prior to 8PM on the day of a shoot. This is very necessary as everything must be edited by our team in Southeast Asia so that they can return the end products to us before business begins the following day here in the states.
FOURTH: Payment
$60 for Photography order (base order, generally takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour)
$100 for Photography + Floorplan (frequent order)
$110 for Photography + Drone (frequent order)
$140 for Photo+Video Walkthrough (frequent order)
$150 for Photo+Drone+Floorplan (semi-frequent order)
$180 for Photo+Video+Drone (semi-frequent order)
$180 for Photo+Video+Floorplan (semi-frequent order)
$225 for Photo+Premium Video (semi-frequent order)
$370 for "Whole Kit & Kaboodle" (see website)
$50 for Twilight Photos
You will be paid weekly via direct deposit into your bank account once a week. If you prefer crypto/Bitcoin as payment, we are 100% on board with that and will make it happen. As with all gig work, we never know exactly how much work we'll have for any given week but we are maximizing our reach and gaining more and more clients every day which will help fill up that schedule. You could have anywhere from 1-4 shoots in a day or 2-15 shoots in a week, it just depends on the demand for that time period. If there happens to be a day or a time that you need off, we are happy to work with you on that but we'd really appreciate advance notice of a week or more. As a reference point, our photographers generally make $500 to $2000 per week depending on demand.
FIFTH: Training
You will be required to accompany the owner of the company on 2-3 photoshoots prior to shooting solo for which you will be paid $30 each. You will also be required to photograph/video/floorplan your own residence so that we can evaluate your angles/quality. You may have to do it twice depending upon the results of the first shoot.

Photography - 40 photos per shoot with high dynamic range
Video Walkthrough - 1-3 minute video on a gimbal that walks through the property
Premium Video - 4-8 minute video on a gimbal that walks through the property as well as highlighting the unique and beautiful aspects of the home. This includes drone footage.
Drone Photos - 7 drone photos of the property and the surrounding areas
Drone Video - 1-2 minute video of the property and the surrounding areas
Floorplan - A drawn blueprint of the home, taken with a laser measurement device (provided by us) on graph paper
Twilight Photos - Exterior photography taken just after the sunset
