We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
Follow all health code regulations and food safety standards
Assist with daily prep work and stock rotation
Set up and break down cooking stations before and after shifts
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Dispose of waste properly and maintain organized storage areas
Perform other typical line cook duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager
Qualifications
Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a commercial kitchen
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
