The Gathering Spot is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the communications, social media, and content strategy of the company. This role oversees and assists in the execution of both external brand communications and internal member communications as well as leads execution related to the strategic and long-term vision of The Gathering Spot’s marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Tracking and driving Execution of Deliverables Across communications & marketing department

Leading, Developing, and Monitoring Brand & Voice of The Gathering Spot

Approving all marketing assets and external deliverables

Serving as a cross-departmental liaison to lead marketing initiatives that touch various other departments

Leading a marketing team including Social Media and Communications Coordinators

Job Requirements

Ability to balance multiple projects, deliverables and timelines simultaneously and effectively

Ability to lead and manage a team of marketing creatives, closely tracking timelines and deliverables

Ability to work well with a team and collaborate effectively

Ability to work well under pressure and with quick turnaround

Strong written communication skills

Strong understanding of data driven marketing decision making and analyzation

Flexibility to be available when needed outside of typical work hours

Design Experience (Photoshop, Adobe, InDesign) Preferred but not required

Web Design Experience Preferred but not required
