As a Lead Product Designer at Xplor Pay, you will be a pivotal force in shaping the user experience of our cutting-edge payment products. You will:Lead Design Initiatives: Take ownership of complex design problems from conception through execution, delivering high-quality, user-centered solutions for new features and product enhancements across our global Partner and Merchant Solutions.Strategic Vision: Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business Development to define product strategy and requirements, ensuring design aligns with business goals and user needs.Hands-on Design & Research: Conduct user research, create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Ballpark, Hotjar, and Figma, ensuring designs are consistent with our Apollo Design System.UX/UI Excellence: Champion best practices in user experience (UX) and user interaction design (IxD), including usability heuristics, accessibility standards, and information architecture.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between design, product, and engineering teams, ensuring a shared understanding of design intent and technical feasibility.Mentorship & Guidance: Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to product designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning within the team.Design System Contribution: Actively contribute to and evolve our Xplor Pay design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all products.User Advocacy: Be the voice of the user, advocating for their needs and pain points throughout the product development lifecycle through qualitative and quantitative research methods.Iterative Development: Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of design assets.The average base salary pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000.In this role, you may work remotely as long as you are located within the lower 48 states of the US.
