Co-op, Marketing and Communications - Cargo (Fall 2024) United States, Georgia, AtlantaCargo Commercial20-Mar-2024Ref #: 23903How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)The Delta Cargo Marketing and Communications team is seeking one co-op for full-time alternating rotations based in Atlanta, GA, in line with the schedule below: Fall 2024 - 1st rotation Summer 2025 - 2nd rotation Spring 2026 - 3rd rotation About Delta Cargo Much as Delta Air Lines helps passengers reach their destinations, the Cargo division serves companies in the safe and efficient transport of a wide range of freight, including everything from mail to live animals and life-saving pharmaceuticals. Different departments in the Cargo division provide rate information, sell cargo space in the belly of Delta’s passenger aircraft, track & trace freight and resolve customer problems. Additionally, they safely move cargo from a warehouse location to airport ramp areas and ensure proper delivery onto the appropriate aircraft. The Cargo Commercial team includes Global Sales, Alliances, Product and Marketing/Communications. Overall function and role: As part of the team responsible for communicating to worldwide customers and employees, this individual will be supporting key brand and communication initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have a d etail-oriented, adaptable and collaborative approach. Major Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist with creation of impactful employee and customer initiatives, communications, and collateral. · Identify innovations and improvements to current communication methods (e.g., social media, virtual events, videos). · Research and develop content for LinkedIn and Workplace. · Draft customized communications including PowerPoint presentations, letters, talking points and website content. · Conduct internal surveys as needed. · Support company’s goal of open, honest, and direct communications. · Assist with internal or external event planning as needed. · Graphic design, video and/or photography skills are helpful and desired, but not required. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)· Must be enrolled as a full -time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution throughout the co-op program · At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale · Must be available to work on a full-time basis as an undergraduate student during the following 3 alternating semesters: Fall 2024, Summer 2025, Spring 2026 · Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the co-op rotations · Candidate is team-oriented and highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies · Strong organizational, project management, problem solving skills, and verbal/written communication skills are essential · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite · Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required
