Attorney/Lawyer

Description Robert Half is seeking a project attorney to support a civil litigation firm in the Atlanta area. This position will primarily research and writing for medical malpractice cases. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive research related to civil rights and medical malpractice cases. Write and prepare legal documents, reports, and summaries based on research findings. Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to civil litigation and civil rights litigation. Collaborate with team members to discuss case details, research findings, and legal strategies. Track time spent on various tasks to ensure effective time management. Use legal software, such as Westlaw, to facilitate research and case management. Participate in virtual meetings to discuss case progress and strategies. Ensure all legal activities adhere to current laws and regulations. Monitor ongoing legal cases and propose strategic solutions. Requirements Applicants must have a law degree from an accredited law school. Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia. Proven experience in the field of law, specifically civil litigation and civil rights litigation. Possession of strong litigation skills, including court appearances, deposition taking, and negotiation. Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. High level of professional ethics and integrity. Knowledge of legal research techniques and databases.
