Ensure seamless integration of observability tools with Azure services to monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance. Gather and analyze Synthetic Monitoring and Real User Monitoring (RUM) requirements to implement comprehensive end-to-end observability solutions for Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE) software products delivered via the cloud. Understand Site Reliability Engineering focus areas, including KPIs, SLOs, and SLIs, to maintain and support products. YOU MUST HAVE:Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with Elastic Stack, and other industry-leading Observability Tools such as Dynatrace, DataDog, Splunk. Full term of experience must include: Elastic Stack Expertise: proficiency in designing, implementing, maintaining, and administering the Elastic Stack (both on-premise and cloud), including Elastic Master Nodes, Data Nodes, Logstash, Kibana, and Kafka; ability to transform log data ingestion pipelines, create dashboards with log-based insights, and configure alerts and visualizations; experience integrating Elastic Stack with third-party tools to enhance monitoring and observability capabilities; expertise in designing and managing Elasticsearch Common Schema, including the creation of index schemas and mappings to efficiently organize and optimize log data; ability to assess logging requirements and design custom solutions tailored to specific observability needs; In-depth understanding of Azure Infrastructure and Platform services; strong foundation in cloud monitoring, observability, and the ability to implement and manage advanced solutions to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our IoT software products.
