Job Description: Adjunct Faculty, Division of Athletic Training- DublinThe Division of Athletic Training within the School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness seeks applications for an adjunct, non-tenure track instructor to teach a graduate level manual therapy course as part of the Athletic Training Residency offered at the Dublin Integrated Education Center. The adjunct instructor will develop and instruct curriculum that aligns with the Residency learning outcomes.The position will serve as the instructor for AT 5300 (Manual Therapy in Rehabilitation) and other courses as needed. All courses will require the adjunct instructor to facilitate didactic and/or laboratory courses, assess student learning, and maintain the teaching lab and its associated supplies.Ohio University is a doctoral/research intensive state university with 23,000 students on its picturesque Athens campus and another 9,900 students on five regional campuses and 1600 students at the Dublin Center. The School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness is one of five schools and departments in the College of Health Sciences and Professions (http://www.ohio.edu/chsp/ahsw/). The School houses the Division of Athletic Training, which offers a total of three graduate programs including the Professional Athletic Training Program, the Athletic Training Residency, and the online Doctor of Athletic Training.Minimum Qualifications:
Earned Doctorate in Athletic Training.
Previous college didactic teaching experience.
At least five years of clinical manual therapy experience.
