Adjunct Job AnnouncementPosition: Dental Hygiene Adjunct InstructorLocation: Athens CampusDepartment: Division of Life Sciences & Public SafetyReports to: Program Chair for Dental Programs and Divisional Academic DeanSalary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.Deadline to Apply: July 31, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management, development, monitoring, and completion of the Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene Program initiatives.

Contribute to planning and development processes.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in communication with students, administrators, faculty and staff.

Assist clinical coordinator with clinic supply; tracking and stocking.

Supervise and instruct dental hygiene students during clinic.

Support clinical facilities.

Provide a safe environment for the provision of instructions and patient care.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the State of Georgia.

Knowledge of Dentrix software.

Two (2) years clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) – three (3) years of previous work experience as a dental hygienist.

Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Experience in electronic delivery and online learning is highly desirable.
