Accounting & Tax firm in Kendall, FL seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Front Desk/Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. In this role, you will help maintain a positive, friendly and professional atmosphere while supporting the day-to-day functions of our office.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients that come to the office
Answer, screen, follow up and forward incoming phone calls
Schedule client's appointments
Data entry to accounting and tax software
Provide accurate information in person, via phone and email
Maintain office security by following safety procedures
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, printing, scanning, and faxing
Requirements:
Fluent in English and Spanish written and oral is A MUST
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required, knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
Professional and friendly attitude
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent customer service skills
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial data
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a receptionist or office setting
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Positive, professional attitude and appearance
