You will enjoy a competitive package, great benefits, and a creative and diverse work environment.Job Summary: Responsible for driving the process and delivery of channel partner joint offers.Equinix is seeking a driven individual to join our Channel Program Management organization. You will collaborate with creative and passionate people in an agile work environment while helping bridge the technical and business worlds. In order to do this successfully, it’s essential to be able to break down complex concepts into simple solutions.Responsibilities
  • Planning - applies a range of approaches to planning and gathering information in which to develop/facilitate/lead more complex Business Cases, plans and schedules (i.e. ROI).
  • Competent in the use of planning tools, considers and develops cross functional plans
  • Stakeholder Management - Works with numerous stakeholders and may work with government/governance bodies, understands stakeholder needs and builds effective relationships
  • Demonstrates influencing skills to achieve solutions and dealing with challenging stakeholder situations
  • Communications - Uses a variety of communications methods (e.g. in-person, emails, status reports) to deliver information relevant to the audience and project needs
  • Is fully aware of standardized tools and template requirements and is a 'go to' person for feedback on the development of project/program management standards
  • Risk Management - has an approach to risk management that spans projects level up to strategic risk management where required. Create and maintain a list of program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
  • When faced with issues applies lateral thinking and analyses available information to solve problems and engages with teams to resolve
  • Project/Program Delivery - Is responsible for program delivery of multiple related projects required for a specific business functional strategy.
  • Problem solves resource/budgetary issues with internal teams and external suppliers and conclude disputes successfully and independently
  • Create and be responsible for the master milestone schedule, keep deliverables on track, handle dependencies and escalations
  • Understand and determine critical metrics and success criteria with the impacted functional areas
  • Cultivate relationships in a matrix organization while collaborating with cross-functional team members to drive the execution of program tasks and deliverables. This is including, but not limited to, consulting with partners on program requirements, proactively seeking feedback to improve partner satisfaction with schedules, delivery and quality
  • Know when and how to escalate to resolve complex issues. This includes preparing documentation for upper management to leverage and act on.
  • Facilitate product impact assessments, requirements definition, trade-offs, resource stabilizing, and change control
  • Create, maintain, and report high-level program/project dashboards and metrics
Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and communicate a broader picture but also get hands-on when needed
  • Proactive mindset, can adapt easily to a changing environment, and has excellent time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of essential tools, techniques and methods to finish any task
  • Show respect for all levels in the organization – embody a professional and confident style but also be humble
  • Great upwards management communication style
  • Thrive in a matrix/virtual community that is fast paced
  • Excellent communication skills – this is essential to being successful in this line of work
  • Ability to multi-task; manage multiple, complex, short/long term projects simultaneously
  • Can do attitude, team player, fun and energetic, while at the same time being professional
  • Working with channel partners is a plus
  • Knowledge of how channels work within large companies is a plus
  • 7+ years of program management experience
