Assistant Manager of Leasing & Operations (75954)Job DetailsJob Location Hawks Landing - Tampa, FLPosition Type Full TimeJob Category Admin - ClericalDescription Must be local to Tampa Bay, Fl areaSummaryThe Assistant Manager of Leasing and Operations plays a key role in supporting the Resident Accounts Manager (RAM) and Property Manager (PM) to ensure smooth daily operations, excellent resident experience, and full compliance with housing policies and regulations. Through a collaborative effort you will work with the onsite team to achieve established revenue, occupancy, resident retention and leasing goals.You will be a pinnacle part in the property’s success by ensuring that the financial functions and day to day operations are running smoothly and efficiently. The Property Manager will be reliant on this role to be their right hand in all things operations to ensure world-class service for our residents. Who You Are: Tenacious. You treat your team, residents and communities with respect.What You’ll Do: Support the RAM with resident accounts, including billing inquiries, delinquency monitoring, and bad debt management, while helping to meet budget and occupancy goals.Coordinate and oversee move-in and move-out processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with procedures.Collaborate daily with the maintenance team and PM to prepare units for occupancy, uphold maintenance standards, and participate in quarterly, move-in, and move-out inspections.Serve as the primary liaison with legal counsel for drafting and issuing notices, violations, and eviction documentation.Maintain regular communication with the on-site Assistant Dean, campus officials, campus security, and public safety to resolve resident concerns and foster a safe, supportive community.Assist the PM in supervising, training, and developing leasing consultants.Support the PM and college officials in managing after-hours resident emergencies as needed.Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation among residents to promote a respectful and inclusive living environment.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal fair housing laws.Act as the primary contact for Athletics and International Departments, managing resident placements and related billing processes.Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll Need: Previous experience in the multifamily property management industryA high school diploma or equivalent.Communication skills that foster an environment of connection and belonging, teamwork and productivity.The knowledge of operation and financial concepts such as: budgeting, revenue, and NOI.Ability to create a respectful sense of urgency with rent collectionImpeccable attention to detail and strong organization skills.A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching & mentorship.What You’ll Get (Peak Perks):Paid Parental Leave15 Days of PTO + 2 additional “Wellbeing Days”Potential Monthly CommissionHousing discount maybe available (varies by property, ask for more details)401(k) MatchWellness initiatives, healthy team competitions and virtual yoga classes through Peak’s LiveWell programCommitment to leadership training and growth opportunitiesAdditional rewards and recognition10 Year “Peakiversary” TripWho We ArePeakMade Real Estate is an Atlanta-based company that specializes in the management and development of off-campus student housing, multi-family and build to rent communities across the US.
