Job Summary: Under the direction and supervision of designated Field Foreman, General Foreman or Superintendent(s), duties include, but not limited to, preparing interior and exterior surfaces prior to paint, application of respective primer, final paint of project based on full scope of work. Job site is to stay cleanly & members of our team are respectable, honest & reliable. Painter(s) must be detail oriented with uniform results; support activities at all jobsites as directed.
Job Description: Team member is responsible for the effective and accurate performance of all assigned responsibilities and duties included but not limited to: Learning, understanding & applying your skills in preparing unfinished commercial and residential interior and exterior surfaces for painting by taping/plastic/paper/caulking and sanding; apply paint by using brushes/rollers/sprayers as directed. Capable of providing clean, detailed, and uniform results.
Travel / Reliable Transportation: Job sites vary throughout the Southwest Sarasota, FL area; with many of our clients being between Sarasota to Tampa. Most projects will run anywhere from 2 days to a few weeks; once this job is completed, you will be assigned a new project at a new location. With respect to our clients, we expect our team members to arrive promptly at the scheduled time; Schedules are posted on a smart phone-based application.
Job Minimum Skills/Experience: Ability to adapt to new skills with attention to detail, a dedicated eye, and finesse. Lift and/or pull 50lbs., climb ladders/work on ladders, man lifts or other equipment. Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt. Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions. Uphold our Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion and Excellence at all times. Adhere to all OSHA and Elevation's safety practices and procedures.
Monday - Friday position with some availability to work weekends and overnights
