JJ's Market & Deli in Saint Pete is looking for staff to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 10535 Gandy Blvd N. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, friendly, neat, clean and engaged.
General Responsibilities:
Set up workstations
Prepare orders to customer and business standards
Follow health and safety guidelines
Prep fresh meats, cheeses & other ingredients daily
Provide friendly customer service
Help clean, manage deliveries, wash dishes, stock items, etc.
Be willing to learn & follow directions
Help make soups, salads, desserts, sandwiches, pasta salads, etc.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read, write, listen and communicate effectively
Safely lift and carry 40 lbs
