JJ's Market and Deli in St Pete is looking for staff to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 10535 Gandy Blvd N. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, friendly, neat, clean and engaged.
General Responsibilities:
Set up workstations
Prepare orders to customer and business standards
Follow health and safety guidelines
Prep fresh meats, cheeses, other ingredients daily.
Provide friendly customer service.
Help clean, manage deliveries, wash dishes, stock items, etc.
Be willing to learn and follow directions.
Help make soups, salads, desserts, sandwiches, pasta salads, etc.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to read, write, listen and communicate effectively.
Safely lift and carry 40 lbs.
