Applications Development Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.Duties: Lead software development for building data driven applications and platforms using Java and Angular. Contribute to developing platforms for business users for client onboarding by performing full stack development including front end user interface development, middle tier services and backend databases and Unit Testing using Javascript, Angular, Node JS, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Springboot, Maven, Spring MVC, Spring JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, JIRA, Agile, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, REST, TIBCO, SFTP, IBM MQ. Design technical application architecture, estimate infrastructure needs and procure infrastructure. Data analysis for business requirement implementation and issue resolution. Lead implementation of web solutions for streamlining Corporate Actions data flow between vendor systems by driving technical discussions, planning the agile sprints/releases, monitoring/controlling all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Ensure continuous delivery and continuous deployment of software deliverables and maintain applications on physical servers, virtual machines and distribute cloud infrastructure using Unix, Linux, Windows, Mainframes, Git, BitBucket, Openshift, Kubernetes, IBM UrbanCode Deploy, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Amazon S3. Collaborate with partner systems and vendors to define and establish connectivity between applications within vendor applications to ensure the desired business data flow. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, and model development. Analyze problems/issues, evaluate business and system processes, industry standards, and make evaluative judgments. Ensure procedures are followed and help define technical/operating standards and processes; assess risk and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to policy, and escalate and report control issues with transparency. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, Programmer Analyst or related position involving full-stack development including Angular front-end development and backend Java application development for the financial services industry. 5 years of experience must include: Application development using Javascript, Angular, Node JS, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Springboot, Maven, Spring MVC, Spring JPA, Hibernate, JDBC; REST, TIBCO, SFTP, IBM MQ; Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL; Git, BitBucket, Openshift, Kubernetes, IBM UrbanCode Deploy, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Amazon S3, Linux, Windows; Nginix, Apache Tomcat; JIRA, Agile; Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Postman; and MS Excel, Word, Visio.
