Description: Yield Bookkeeping Services, a dynamic bookkeeping firm specializing in small business accounting, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (Account Manager) to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple client accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and proficient in QuickBooks Online. This role involves overseeing bookkeeper work, client communication, financial statement preparation, and contributing to our commitment to providing exceptional accounting services.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-service bookkeeping services including Payroll, AR, AP and financial statements for multiple clients. Monthly recurring work plus catch-up projects for clients that have not done bookkeeping for a year or more.
Oversee and ensure the quality of deliverables from bookkeepers, including financial statements and other reports.
Address and rectify any discrepancies or errors, providing guidance to prevent recurrence.
Manage client communication, and ongoing support, maintaining high standards of service.
Coordinate year-end activities, including 1099s and W2s
Contribute to company and client projects as needed, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with significant exposure to bookkeeping.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation.
Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple client accounts.
BS in Accounting preferred; Bookkeeping experience with multiple clients in QuickBooks Online advantageous
