Position responsibilities will include providing administrative support needs for to Captive Wildlife section with duties such as purchasing, travel, tracking travel expenses for budget allotment, answering phones, overtime tracking, special projects and assist with the day-to-day operation needs of the section. Handles other administrative duties as assigned. Provides assistance as needed and as assigned in the absence of other administrative staff. Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Ability to communicate effectively with the public in a courteous manner.

Ability to read and understand applicable rules, regulations and directives.

Ability to use personal computer.

Ability to set up and organize office files.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have prior customer service experience.
