PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Rough Carpenters to support various contractors throughout the North Port area!
Pay is $20 to $23 DOE
Responsibilities:
Must be able to follow instructions
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Perform physical labor that requires considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials on construction sites
Must have experience with drywall demolition and installs, removing and replacing metal stud frames
Must have full PPE (hardhat, safety goggles, safety vest, gloves, and steel-toe boots
Have reliable transportation to and from work daily.
Work at least 40 hours a week and OT if needed.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to work outdoors in the elements if required
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years paid experience as a Skilled Laborer
Must be 18 years and older
Have reliable transportation to and from the job site
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
