This position holds a key role in our Service Center, where we support customers in maintaining their DePuy Synthes Capital equipment, ranging from power tools to Velys Robotic systems. This role involves collaborating with commercial stakeholders, overseeing Service Sales priorities, and ensuring targets are met. As the Manager of Service & Repair, you'll have a significant impact on overall service results, employee relations, and process improvement within the assigned Service area.Key responsibilities:

Prioritize all Service and Repair work at the Palm Beach Gardens Service site.

Functionally manage the Service Center, monitoring support and performance improvements.

Develop and track monthly performance, quality, and financial metrics for the Service center.

Ensure representation of Service during NPI processes and readiness at the launch moment.

Effectively lead inventory levels, optimizing costs, replacement periods, and quality.

Lead service and repair-related projects, meeting customer needs.

Supervise operational management of personnel, setting standards for performance and feedback.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to align processes for quality, finance, operations, and training.

Plan, organized, and controlled work schedules to meet service and department metrics.

Process service activities within the S&R platform software for service and complaints.

Ensure department compliance with all Quality, EHS, and company policies and procedures.

Support the maintenance of operating supply inventory for each department.

Assist in preparing, monitoring, and controlling the department budget.

Conduct 5 performance and development conversations annually.

Interview and select personnel to meet staffing requirements.

Additional duties as assigned.

Adherence to all laws and policies, maintaining integrity, ethics, and compliance.

QualificationsEducation:

B.A. or B.S in a technical field or business is required.

Required:

6 years of hands-on experience in applicable (technical) Operations management.

6 years of direct people management and leadership experience.

Strategic planning/portfolio management experience is required.

5 years performing cross-functional or multiple subject area assignments is required.

Experience implementing change initiatives and change management.

Preferred:

10 years of hands-on experience in applicable (technical) Operations management.

Advanced degree such as an MA/MBA is preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of GMP/ISO is helpful.

Knowledge of EHS regulations is preferred.

Salesforce experience (preferred).

SAP experience (preferred).

Experience working in a regulated environment is highly preferred.

Electro-mechanical device experience is highly preferred.

Experience in customer service, logistics, or distribution is a plus.
