The Project Manager will help Business Analysts with finishing the detailed requirements documentation that may feature data mapping to accounting systems for precise accounting and reporting of transactions. These business requirements will need to include specifications collected from the accounting leadership team as well as input from key participants from other functional areas. Creates governance approaches for the projects to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
Besides managing project sponsor expectations and deciphering business drivers, you will recommend changes, when required, to project scope, timing, or resources to result in the delivery of strategic solutions
Coordinates priorities of concurrent project and support assignments, while meeting stakeholder expectations
Oversees work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation
Explains and analyzes business requirements for a range of business users
Communicates with the development team to outline business requirements as well as business process design Requirements - Have a background in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies & development
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance & Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Candidate must be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
The ideal candidate will possess past experience in a key accounting role
It's a plus if you have a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification
5+ years of prior relevant experience- Communications management experience preferred
General familiarity with Online training
Adeptness in Mass Communication
Formal Project Management experience
Communication Skills experience highly desired
Knowledge of SAP
Proficiency in Digital Communication
Demonstrated knowledge of Team scheduling
Capable of responding both orally and in writing to executive management, team members, business and technology professionals
Proven success acting in a project management capacity
Ability to use your discretion and act on it
It's required that candidates have an a clear understanding of project management software like Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications
