Location:Devonshire by Erickson Senior LivingDevonshire is a luxurious 26-acre resort-style continuing care retirement community located on the grounds of prestigious PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. We’re part of a growing network of communities managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Fitness Specialist to become part of our team. The Fitness Specialist will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, closely monitoring progress, and leading fitness programs tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents.This is a part time- 32 hour/week positionCompensation: Starting at $19.00/hour, commensurate with experienceHow you will make an impact:

Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.

Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.

Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.

Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.

Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.

Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

What you will need:

Associate’s degree in Health Education or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Current CPR/First Aid certifications.

Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.

Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
