You MUST have at least 6 months COURIER dispatching in order to apply
Our Dispatchers handle multiple phone calls and emails assisting both drivers and customers simultaneously. This can range from getting runs covered by our couriers and making sure actively running
couriers are on time picking up and delivering. This is a very detailed orientated position; requiring focus and attention to detail while keeping our customers and drivers updated in a timely manner.
The Dispatchers must possess excellent communication skills, computer skills, and customer service skills.
You must be able to multitask at times when it is extremely busy and be self-motivated at the times when it is slow.
Starting pay, schedule, and opportunity for advancement will be discussed at interview. Dispatchers are paid weekly on Fridays through ACH.
The Ideal Candidate:
-Willing and able to obtain TWIC.
-Must have valid Florida driver’s license.
-Communicate effectively, verbally and written.
-Organized and self-motivated.
-Able to prioritize tasks.
-Microsoft Outlook experience a plus.
-Able to handle tight deadlines and do well under pressure
Primary Job Responsibilities Include:
-Ensure accuracy of job information prior to and during dispatching.
-Dispatch work assignments to drivers.
-Follow up and update all dispatched and non-dispatched jobs until completion.
-Perform record keeping as needed.
-Maintain customer relations via phone and email.
Applicant must be able to pass a full criminal background check, TWIC. Training will be provided in our office with our lead dispatchers.
