We are currently seeking a talented and experienced cabinet carpenter to join our team and contribute to our high standards of craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in producing high-quality cabinetry and furniture pieces for our custom homes. You will collaborate with our design and build teams to ensure each piece meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Custom Cabinetry Production: Measure, cut, and assemble wooden components to create custom cabinets and furniture according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure perfection.
- Material Selection: Choose and evaluate appropriate materials, considering factors such as color, texture, strength, and cost to match design specifications
- Collaboration: Work closely with site supervisors to ensure designs are feasible and meet client expectations.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise cabinetry work.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a cabinet carpenter or similar role in woodworking.
- Skills: Proficient in using woodworking machinery and hand tools. Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve woodworking issues effectively.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
