Key Responsibilities:
Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with local construction companies, contractors, and individual customers.
Drive Sales: Actively prospect for new business opportunities and achieve sales targets through effective presentations and product demonstrations.
Provide Expert Guidance: Offer knowledgeable advice and assistance to customers, helping them select the right products for their projects.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely manner.
Merchandising: Assist with maintaining a clean and organized showroom, restocking products, and creating attractive displays.
Qualifications:
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within the construction or related industry.
Bilingual Advantage: Fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele.
People Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented approach to achieving sales goals.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues while also taking initiative independently.
Physical Requirements: Able to lift and carry heavy materials, and comfortable working on your feet.
Forklift Certification (Preferred): While not required, a forklift license is a definite plus.
Valid Driver's License: Reliable transportation is essential for customer visits and deliveries.
Background Check: Successful candidates will be subject to a standard background check.
