As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple highway construction projects throughout Central Florida.Willing to pay hiring bonus/relocation cost!ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of construction procedures.Manage multiple highway construction projects, including progress schedule preparation, material procurement, and site coordination of field personnel.Serve as the main contact between the company and the project representative.Provide assistance with pre-construction, compliance, planning, and execution.Prepare estimates and construction documents for presentation to our customers.Ensure that all emergency, health and safety plans, and permitting documents are posted for each construction site.QualificationsMinimum three years of experience in preparing estimate take-offs, project engineering, project management and/or field work.Ability to prepare project estimates with detailed quantity take off, bids and construction documents for state and county projects.Exposure to the Highway construction industry required.Past experience with FDOT, DOT and CFX is needed.If not a P.E., a solid understanding of engineering standards, common practices, industry codes, recommended government codes, laws, regulations, rules and the ability to read and understand the scope of work as defined by construction drawings, specifications and contracts.Excellent communication skills.BenefitsOpportunity to work throughout Central Florida.Room for growth with advancement opportunities and training available.Assigned trucks and fuel card.Benefit Package - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance (Aflac & Allstate) and a simple IRA after 60 days of employment.PTO and Holiday Pay after 90 days of employment.
